Research Areas

The St George Medical Research Foundation supports the research of the medical staff at St George Hospital. As one of the leading teaching hospitals in New South Wales the hospital has developed a rich tradition of delivering successful research that has positively impacted he lives of many thousands of people. The research that is undertaken at St George Hospital is truly ground breaking and for many, life changing. This research covers thirteen core research areas and numerous diseases that affect many Australians.

In some cases the St George Researchers work on research projects in collaboration with other local or international researchers, whilst on other research projects the St George researchers take the lead role.
