Best & Brightest Corporate Program

Best & Brightest is the Foundation’s innovative Corporate Partnership Program. Click here to meet the Foundation’s Best & Brightest Partners – companies that support the Foundation and help us to deliver our research results.

What is Best & Brightest?

Best & Brightest is a great way for your company to get involved with the St George Medical Research Foundation – it’s innovative, inclusive and fun. Essentially it allows companies to support or “sponsor” bright young (and not so young) researchers in their invaluable work. These researchers – the Brightest – are typically studying for PhD or equivalent level, research based qualifications – usually leading to a career in medicine or nursing or similar. The research that they do is always valuable, meaningful, supervised and peer-reviewed work – research that can have a dramatic impact on a specific disease or illness.

Through the Best & Brightest program the company “adopts” a researcher and in doing so becomes a Best & Brightest Partner.

Best & Brightest Partnership

A Best & Brightest Partnership is a great way for a company to really make a difference in medical research – and in the on-going search for cures for numerous diseases.

Through Best & Brightest companies are given an insight into the work of the researcher that they “adopt” – through presentations at management meetings, staff meetings and round table discussions. The company receives a bi-annual B&B Report from their researcher with an update on milestones and progress.

How do companies get involved in Best & Brightest?

It’s really easy to join the program.

Best & Brightest has 3 participation levels - each of the three levels receive the following benefits:

  • Adoption of a PhD (or equivalent) student researcher
  • Best & Brightest Pack – including a desk or wall plaque, certificate and welcome letter
  • An introductory meeting with your researcher(s)
  • Two further meetings per year (suitable for all-staff meetings, management meetings) at which the researcher will be able to talk about her/his research and progress
  • A bi-annual Research Report from the Foundation

In addition to these program benefits the Foundation’s Best & Brightest Partners receive a range of advantages depending on their level of support. The three levels of support and their corresponding benefits are as follows:
