One of the very best ways that you can support the Foundation is to become a Friend of the Foundation. Friend’s are great – you can never have to many of them, and the best ones are around for life. The St George Medical Research Foundation needs friends to ensure that we can continue our work towards finding cures for some nasty diseases.

If you have been personally affected by one of these diseases or have a family member or friend who has – or if you simply want to play a part in the process that can lead to find a cure – please think about becoming a Friend of the Foundation.

And it’s really easy to become a Friend of the Foundation – join the Hand in Hand Supporters Club and hear all about the wonderful work of the researchers at the Hospital as they search for cures for diseases that affect millions of people. As a Hand in Hand Friend you will feel that you are actually holding hands with the researchers as they do their invaluable work.

Each year you will receive a copy of Towards A Cure, the Foundation’s newsletter, which details firsthand the work of the researchers at the Foundation – their work and progress towards a cure. In addition, when major breakthroughs occur you will receive Eureka! – a brief newsflash on interesting and novel medical research progress at St George.

When you join as a Hand in Hand Friend you will receive a welcome pack and – of course as all Hand in Hand donations are completely tax-deductible – a progress letter from the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer along with your tax receipt each year.

Hand in Hand Supporters Club allows you to donate to the Foundation easily each month via credit card or bank account – it’s really simple, cost effective and fully tax-deductible. In short, it’s the very best way for individuals to support the research work of the Foundation.
