Masquerade Ball Results

What a night! For those who attended, or if you would like to be a part of our 2016 Events Committee, we would love you to fill out our survey.Tim Campbell squareOur guests dressed in their finest, went wild for our prizes and entertainment, and raised almost $200,000. We couldn’t have done it without some wonderful local businesses and sponsors, including Singapore Airlines, Tynan Motors, St.George Bank, St George Private Hospital, Westfield, Cliff Lewis Printing and the Leader.

Our best ever St.George Bank Beachside Dash

Back for its 8th year, the Dash saw huge numbers in 2015 – please fill out this survey if you would like to be involved in our 2016 event!

One of our pacing dragons

The Dash has raised almost $50,000 for SSMRF so far. We were particularly inspired by 79-year-old semi-retired neurologist Dr Don Pryor – a veteran of 23 City2Surfs and most of our Dashes to date.
For most of the competitors, running in the Dash is less about winning and more about raising money for life saving medical research. Sisters Anthea and Christie Charalambous said they ran as a way to say thank you for the ”awesome support” their father received from his cardiologist and St George Hospital when he suffered a heart attack in 2012.

Research Grants

The team continues to be out and about in the community, so if you see us around don’t forget to come and say hello.

Sincerely,
