2024 research grants call for EOI: Neurodegenerative diseases and cancer

Applications are now open for expressions of interest (EOI) for new research grants from St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF).

SSMRF is delighted to announce a new round of research grants for 2024. These grants will be open to researchers based at either St George or Sutherland Hospitals, including scientific, medical, nursing/midwifery and allied health staff.

The grants will take the form of standard research grants, restricted in 2024 to research into neurodegenerative diseases and cancer (up to $50,000 for cancer and up to $60,000 for neurodegenerative diseases).

Grants will be awarded for a 12-month period.

EOIs must be received by SSMRF by COB Friday 26 April 2024.
