Ramsgate RSL Hosts High Tea for Medical Research Month

Ramsgate RSL staff and members came together on Thursday 20th June, over high tea to give back to the community and raise funds for local medical research.

Over 45 guests attended the High Tea with an Asian Twist Fundraising event including Ramsgate RSL President, Sallianne Faulkner.

The High Tea Fundraiser raised $830.00 for St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF) – funding which will help support medial research in St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

SSMRF Chief Executive Jacquie Stratford said the Foundation is “proud to partner with community minded organisations like Ramsgate RSL to raise awareness and funds to support medical research in our local hospitals”.

In addition to this fundraising event, Ramsgate RSL has announced its sponsorship of the SSMRF 2019 Beachside Dash.

Thank you Ramsgate RSL for your ongoing support.
