Ambassador Chris O’Keefe joins 2GB Radio Sydney

SSMRF Ambassador Chris O’Keefe is the new Drive presenter on Sydney radio station 2GB.

The Channel 9 reporter and now 2GB radio commentator has a direct link to SSMRF, having been treated as a child by SSMRF Patron Professor John Edmonds for a crippling condition that would affect a significant part of his childhood.

Chris O’Keefe is an award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience in the media industry; most recently as Channel 9’s NSW State Political Reporter. He began his career in 2008 with an internship at the St George & Sutherland Shire Leader before moving to television in 2010 as a reporter for Ten News.

Chris performed the role of MC at the SSMRF End of Year Celebration Dinner in December (pictured with SSMRF CEO Pam Brown). We thank Chris again for agreeing to join our organisation as Ambassador and look forward to working with him.
