SSMRF today launched its end-of-financial-year campaign, “Research helped save my life,” calling on the community to help raise $30,000 to fund early-stage, life-saving medical research projects that could save and transform lives.
Despite the rainy weather, 36 enthusiastic golfers turned out for the annual SSMRF Golf Day at the prestigious Australian Golf Club on Thursday, helping to raise over $40,000 for medical research in the St George and Sutherland hospitals.
