Over $27,000 raised for medical research grants

On Saturday 28 February, the St George DCC Warren Saunders OAM Tribute Walk once again brought our community together in support of medical research, raising over $27,000 for medical research grants at our local hospitals.

We sincerely thank Club Central Hurstville for their generous $5,000 donation, Club Rivers, whose staff proudly supported the Walk and contributed $3,000 towards this important fundraiser and all of our valued donors.

Pictured with SSMRF CEO Pam Brown are John Saunders, Brian Cloney, President of Club Central Board and Chris White, CEO of Alt. Hospitality Group, presenting the cheque in support of vital research at our local hospitals.

For 13 years, the St George District Cricket Club has proudly supported SSMRF. Partnerships like this help fund the doctors and researchers working to improve health outcomes across our region.
