R U OK? Day BBQ

It is important to check in with your family and friends regularly – and each year on one day during September we are reminded of this with events and activities organized across the country.

On Thursday 14 September, SSMRF CEO Pam Brown and Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Events Kathryn Lord helped Caringbah Rotary cook a BBQ at The Sutherland Hospital for R U OK? day.

R U OK? is a suicide prevention charity in Australia, encouraging all of us to notice the signs of mental health struggles in friends, family, and colleagues. It is run by R U OK? health promotion charity.

If you would like to talk to someone, you can find support on the R U OK? website.
