SSMRF is now an official member of the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber.

At the first event on the Chamber’s calendar for the year, ‘Shire Thrive’ Business Breakfast, SSMRF was represented by Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Events Kathryn Lord.

Pictured with Sutherland Shire Mayor Carmelo Pesce, the keynote speaker Futurist and former Lord Mayor of Adelaide Stephen Yarwood shared his thoughts on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on our community.

A panel discussion was hosted by Stephen and included Network Architect and Cyber Security Expert Jamie Ashton from event sponsor Shire IT, Microsoft Cloud Sales Manager Tim O’Neill from Dicker Data and founder of Rethink Digital Paul Riddout.

The event was a great opportunity for local businesses, council representatives and community members to network and share their plans on how they will ‘thrive’ in the year ahead.
