SSMRF sells winning ticket in 2026 Cook Community Raffle

Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket in the 2026 Cook Classic raffle.

We are excited to announce that SSMRF sold the winning ticket.

This year:

  • 38 local charities and community organisations participated across the Cook electorate
  • More than 30,000 tickets were sold
  • Over $90,000 was raised for local charities

The impact of initiatives like this is perhaps best shown by the family who won the major prize. Their young son has recently reached 12 months cancer-free after battling brain cancer, and they shared how much the holiday will mean to their family. It is a deeply deserving outcome and a powerful reminder of why community initiatives like the Cook Community Raffle matter, supporting families and charities that strengthen our community every day.

Thank you again for helping SSMRF support this amazing initiative.
