St George District Cricket Club Charity Walk for SSMRF

On Saturday 15 December 2018 St George District Cricket Club will conduct its Annual Charity Walk to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation. This is the 5th year the Club has chosen SSMRF as their Charity Partner and Club President and Georges River Mayor, Kevin Greene will again lead the Walk. The Walk has been supported by Georges River Council and they have already donated $10,000 to SSMRF. Kevin has invited his fellow Councillors to join him, St George DCA President, Danny Williams and St George DCC members on the Walk.

The Walk will commence on the Sutherland side of Tom Ugly’s Bridge as this year the Walk coincides with St George playing Sutherland in 1st grade at Hurstville Oval, where the Walk will conclude in the lunch break. Suburbs covered in the 20 km include Blakehurst, Sth Hurstville, Hurstville Grove, Oatley, Mortdale, Peakhurst, Riverwood, Penshurst and Hurstville.
