The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre gala opening

Congratulations to Sutherland Shire Council for the spectacular gala opening of The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre. The Pavilion is the new home of performing arts in the Sutherland Shire, rebuilt within the ‘bones’ of the Sutherland Entertainment Centre.

Representing St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation at the event, SSMRF CEO Pam Brown was accompanied by her husband Trevor and fellow Rotarians Cathy and Richard Mason. Caringbah Rotary were recently named Sutherland Shire Community Group of the Year. SSMRF Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Events also attended the evening with her husband Josh.

Sutherland Shire Mayor Carmelo Pesce and Deputy Mayor Carol Provan unveiled the official plaque before guests were treated to on-stage performances by Kate Ceberano, Peter Helliar, David Campbell, Jon Stevens, Emma Pask and MC Kathy Lette.

Sutherland Shire Council and all involved should be proud of this fantastic community facility.
