Walk for Medical Research

On Saturday 11 March 2023, St George District Cricket Club will conduct its Annual Charity Walk to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.

This is the 10th year the Club has chosen SSMRF as their Charity Partner and Club President and former Georges River Mayor Kevin Greene will again lead the Walk. Kevin was recently named as an Ambassador of SSMRF.

“I’m proud to be associated with SSMRF and the team of dedicated doctors and researchers they support. The St George District Cricket Club has made a firm commitment to SSMRF that we will continue to get behind the Foundation, so please consider making a donation to the St George DCC Charity Walk as we raise funds to support medical research projects in our local St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

Donate to medical research.

All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

The Walk will commence and conclude at Hurstville Oval where St George will be playing Northern Districts. It will include stops at Olds Park and Harold Fraser Oval where lower grade games will be played. Stops will also take place at Junior Cricket Matches at local parks.

Suburbs covered in the 20 km Walk include Blakehurst, South Hurstville, Hurstville Grove, Oatley, Mortdale, Peakhurst, Riverwood, Penshurst and Hurstville.

For more information contact Kevin Greene.

Giving is easy and donations over $2 are tax deductible. You can donate now!
