Associate Professor George Skowronski, one of the founding Directors of SSMRF and SSMRF Ambassador Kevin Greene

Associate Professor George Skowronski was appointed AM for significant service to intensive care medicine and medical research. Dr Skowronski is the Clinical Ethics Lead at St George Hospital and former Director of Intensive Care at St George Private Hospital. He served on the SSMRF Board until 2021.

Former NSW Sports Minister and inaugural Mayor of Georges River Council Kevin Greene was awarded an AM for his significant service to the Parliament of NSW, to local government and to the community. Kevin has strongly supported SSMRF for many years; he has held many charity golf days and charity walks raising much-needed funds for medical research at St George & Sutherland Hospitals.

We applaud Dr Skowronski and Kevin Greene for their recognition in the King’s Birthday Honours, and we thank them for their service to SSMRF and the community.
